Spotlight on Local Practice Partners: Temiz Hasat Turkey

Ashley Colby of SCORAI produced this video highlighting one Local Practice Partner and one researcher from our Turkish hub. In this video we hear from Çiğdem Adem of Middle East Technical University and Gonca Açıkalın of Temiz Hasat, one of the main partners in the project. They discuss the goal of Temiz Hasat, what it has been like working in a transdisciplinary way together, and imagine what a transformed, sustainable food future for Turkey might look like.

Co-SFSC stands for Co-creating Sustainable Food Supply Chains, and it is a project that combines both research and transformation across five hubs: Germany, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey. The project is unique because the research on sustainable food supply chains includes a focus on cooperatives and the roles they might play along the supply chain, and for its transdisciplinary approach and transformative ambition.
