The Covid 19 pandemic affected multiple aspects of life, around the home, in the city, at work, purchasing goods and services, social connectivity, entertainment, sport and leisure time. Some behavioral adaptations were already happening prior to the pandemic but were strongly accelerated and have now become significant factors in the trans Covid lifestyle, such as remote or hybrid work, online commerce and delivery, telemedicine, streaming and gaming. The trans Covid lifestyle is affecting the choice and location of homes, patterns of commuting, the use of public transport, office occupancy and the role of High Street Shopping. Are Trans Covid trends opportunities for promoting more sustainable lifestyles? Are policies needed to restrain less sustainable trends?
