Speakers:

Işıl Servetoğlu is a PhD candidate in Political Science and Public Administration at Middle East Technical University, Turkey. She is working on examining the intersection of gender and food systems. Her research interests include alternative food networks, food politics, gender studies, and political ecology. 

Fikret Adaman is a professor of economics at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey. He is working on democratic planning, ecological economics, and the political economy of Turkey. His research interests include alternative economies, ecological economics, history of economic thought, and political economy/ecology.
