On May 2nd, 2015, The Institute for Policy Studies’ New Economy Maryland project, Story of Stuff, and Greenpeace USA are convening an afternoon and evening of conversations about what it would take to build a new economy in Maryland. The one day workshop will explore core elements of the emerging New Economy movement, connecting local, national, and global issues and studying a compelling conceptual framework that’s gaining traction.

Greenpeace USA Director and “Story of Stuff” founder Annie Leonard, Democracy Collaborative’s Gar Alperovitz, IPS Director John Cavanagh, Progressive Maryland’s Larry Stafford, and Climate Change MD Coordinator Larissa Johnson will lead a multi-generational dialogue on how a People and Planet First Agenda can strengthen Maryland’s future from 6:45 to 9:00pm.
