Announcing SISE 2017 Conference: New frontiers of Economic Sociology

On our mailing list, Maurie Cohen shared the following call for a conference on New Frontiers of Economic Sociology from our Italian colleagues.

Dear Sirs and Madams
I’m writing regarding a call for papers that might be of interest for some of the SCORAI mailing list members. During the first edition of SISE conference (Italian Society for Economic Sociology) “New Frontiers of Economic Sociology”, to be held in Rome 26th-28th January 2017, we are organising a session entitled “Pro-sumers on the move. Resilience, cooperation and social innovation of active consumers for a new economy”. The session aims at collecting theoretical and empirical papers of Italian and International scholars that investigates on recent process of active consumerism from different disciplinary perspective and different methodological approaches, both on the role of consumers and of producers, and on the development of an alternative economical model, around three main areas of analysis (labour, social innovation and new development models).
