Looking back to move › forward – Sustainable consumption from Rio 92 to a post SDGs agenda

We are excited to invite scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and change-makers from around the world to the SCORAI Global Conference 2026 in vibrant São Paulo, Brazil!

The conference aims to promote reflection on how much progress we have made in 36 years and on new understandings related to sustainable consumption. The aim of the discussions is to identify gaps, define mechanisms to speed up progress, and map out institutional partnerships necessary for a fair transition.

SCORAI European Conference

The SCORAI Europe Conference 2025 was organised April 8-10 2025 in Lund, Sweden, together with the MISTRA Sustainable Consumption project and the EU 1.5° Lifestyles project. The conference brought together 400-500 researchers and practitioners concerned with sustainable consumption to make progress on mainstreaming sustainable consumption.
